Mentor
Taylor Lak was my mentor in guiding me throughout the Senior Capstone Project this year. She was a CIBACS student for 4 years and graduated in spring 2023. "His Masterpiece Cards" was her senior project where she sold a variety of handmade watercolor cards.
Taylor played a key role in Crush It Cups early success. I set up a meeting with her in late December to discuss the idea, goals, and starting sales at a local coffee shop. This welcoming environment made it easy to talk to her in a professional tone while still just getting to know her. Taylor helped guide me with her previous business owning experience with details like business card designs, packaging, and Instagram management. To the side is a collection of texts from Taylor and I. In these we also discuss an order she placed for a cold cup in a beautiful blue.
