Gateway 2020 -
Our company Ali Worldwide’s mission was to move Chronic Tacos to Qatar. We were dedicated to moving amazing restaurants to new places where they will continue to blossom. We made changes to the menu while also keeping the amazing Mexican food flavors that we all know and love. There are many benefits to bringing Chronic Taco to another country. There was some obstacles that we overcome but they were controlled because of our strong company goal and the beauty of Qatar.

This project created a basis for my CIBACS career and my thoughts on how I should grow in the future. In my first time working in a team like this, we worked hard handling a lot of conflicts. We made time after school to meet with each other facing the problems of when we should meet, how, where, what would we do, and much more. I felt like I controlled the team and kept everybody concentrated when working. We all made the documents and presentations together getting great feedback in a supportive environment. Our collaboration skills were extended when using google drive and how we could navigate ourselves through this tool. We developed activity logs, slides, and special documents like marketing plans and summaries of learning new skills from our teachers. Although our final presentation had to be cut short because of COVID-19, we did very well in the end and in making changes due to the rough time.
